Sample New Drug Query Screen - New Medicine's Oncology KnowledgeBASE (nm|OK)

The Combination Trials module currently contains only trials using combinations of approved chemotherapeutics and/or other approved treatment modalities. Descriptions include protocols and/or interim results of ongoing trials and final results of completed trials. The database only reports information from published trials.

Clinical trials using novel agents in combination with other novel agents or approved drugs/modalities are described in the New Drugs module. In order to see trials using commercial agents in combination with novel drugs, enter the name of the commercially available drug, i.e. cisplatin, in the Clinical History field of the New Drug query screen and submit the query. To find the description of trial(s) involving the desired drug (cisplatin), call up each individual drug record and use your browser find function (Ctrl-F) to navigate to the desired description.

To search, type words or phrases in the boxes, then click either of the SUBMIT QUERY buttons on the page. In the search boxes, use the following characters to broaden or narrow your search:

Wildcard Search - Use a * to include all word endings (bio*).
AND - Use an & between terms to indicate that both words must be present (leukemia & lymphoma).
OR - Use a / between terms to indicate that either word can be present (leukemia / lymphoma).
NOT - Use an ! between terms to exclude words from the search (leukemia ! myelocytic).

When searching multiple fields, click on the AND drop down box to change to OR or NOT if needed.
